Kirkby Stephen Store Lamb Show & Sale

Harrison & Hetherington Ltd, Kirkby Stephen Mart held their opening sale of Store lambs on Tuesday. 

Topping the sale at £106 was the first prize pen of Beltex cross lambs sold to our store lamb Judge Mrs Storey, Limestone Cottage, Calthwaite who did a great job.

1^st – Mr R W Emmott, Wythop Hall Farm - £76.50
2^nd – Messrs Fearon, Fell View Farm - £77
3^rd – Mr R W Emmott, Wythop Hall Farm - £74

Mule lambs sold to £77 for a pen of 12 from Messrs Fearon, Fell View Farm, Workington 

Trade for all classes and sizes was flying with plenty of buyers looking for lambs and many going home empty handed!. 

Many more lambs wanted on a fortnightly basis with our next sale being on the 10^th August.
