Borderway Weekly Sale of Calves

On Wednesday 28th July Harrison & Hetherington Limited held their weekly sale young calves with the sale described as the dearest seen for some time with all classes of calves extremely well bid for with a growing ring side of buyers.   Topping the sale was a Limousin bull from Messrs Ewing, Annan selling for £570.  Heifers topped at £520 from Messrs Beaty, Stonewalls, for a shapely Limousin.  The same home topped with dairy calves selling a pen of Montbelairdes for £395.
